After witnessing the aftermath of the shooting death of Alton Sterling, a black man who was shot several times July 5 while being held on the ground by police outside a Louisiana convenience store, The Grey Area hosts Slink Johnson and Soren Baker decided to take a break from comedic topics on focus on the emergence of Internet thugs.
“It’s just horrible, man,” Slink says. “Some of the things people say in regards to current events, it’s just horrible, man. I mean we’re all entitled to our own opinions, however I think some people abuse that entitlement.”
The man who portrays the title character Black Jesus on the hit Adult Swim show says there is another issue.
“It’s just so many misinformed people that say things,” Slink laments.
Baker says that he would try to get information before he started talking and running his mouth.
“Well you’re a different kind of guy, Soren,” Johnson says.
