Leslie “Big Lez” Segar Talks The Casting Couch

Dancer, choreographer and on-air personality Leslie “Big Lez” Segar reminisces on her first time auditioning in New York City trying to get into the game. She found a posting to perform as a dancer for a huge recording group on a radio station and decided to audition.

During the audition, Lez gets called to the back by a 300-pound man, who promised to make her leader of the group and more work on future projects in exchange for sexual favors. Lez immediately cursed the man out and proceeded to leave.

Even after cursing the man out, she received a call to fulfill the job. Lez weighed her options and thought about the potential exposure she could get from this big group. She eventually decided to do the performance. The gig she performed earned her many business cards, and even an appearance on a LL Cool J video.

Touching up upon her hard work ethic and natural talent as a gymnast and dancer, Lez proclaims that she does not have to “suck dick just to really take things to the next level.” Lez talks about the strong womanhood in her family, and how she would not want to get involved in anything that would upset either her mother or grandmother.

Recalling another incident, Lez talks about an unnamed rapper and his crew. While traveling on their tour bus, she saw many backstage girls and hopeful singers get on their knees to perform oral sex and have sex with rappers and their crews. “I’ve seen girls get on their knees and audition without singing a word,” Big Lez explains. “And we would stop at like a truck stop, and I’ve seen bitches left at the truck stop, never called again for a job.”

On a finishing note, Big Lez states that to enter this industry, you must come in “head strong” and “be confident about your skill,” as well as not being afraid to saying no to a job.
