Cold 187 Talks Rappers In The Illuminati

Cold 187um, solo artist and front man of legendary group Above The Law, addresses a popular topic in the music industry: the Illuminati.

“The reason why I don’t believe it is because I have been highly successful for a whole lot of years in entertainment and I have no ties to the Illuminati,” the Pomona, California legend says.

Cold 187um also states that he has had two No. 1 albums, in addition to other platinum records on his resume, but he had never heard of the Illuminati when making the music.

“I’m not saying it doesn’t exist, but you don’t have to be a part of it to be successful. That’s the myth to me,” Cold 187um emphasizes.

Despite having musicians in his family at Motown, the West Coast artist states that even growing up, the Illuminati was never mentioned in his upbringing.

From meeting, and working with artists including N.W.A, George Clinton and Isaac Hayes, Cold 187um states that this myth was never mentioned.

Talking about Ruthless Records outbreak of fame with Eazy-E, the man also known as Big Hutch states, “I never got pulled to the side and then said to, ‘Hey, you got to go to room three and then talk to the man in the black coat to be successful.’”

Cold 187um believes it’s a letdown when people blame the Illuminati for artists’ success. “I saw Roc-A-Fella come up from nothing… I thought their work ethic is what made him [Jay-Z] and Dame really successful,” further reiterating the point that hard work leads to success, not the illuminati.
